Tea information:
In 1842, the Chinese Emperor presented the Prime Minister of Nepal with exquisite tea seeds as a gift, envisioning Nepal as a premier tea-producing country. The Organic Nepal Guranse Estate is arguably the world's highest organic tea garden, nestled at elevations ranging from 1,000 to 2,190 meters above sea level on the "Hile" and "Dhankuta" hills in eastern Nepal. This location provides an ideal blend of sunlight, shade, and rainfall, crucial for crafting only the finest teas. The tea leaves are meticulously handpicked and processed. The resulting green leaf displays a delicate wiry texture with silvery leaf buds. In the cup, the tea brews into a bright yellow infusion, releasing an intensely fresh aroma. The taste profile is best described as full-bodied, intense, and velvety.
