Etiopia 2/5 Suke Quto LUOMU

€10,00
Quantity:

Light roasted (2/5), complex organic coffee from Guji zone in Ethiopia.

Suke Quto coffee estate is located in Guji coffee region, Ethiopia, in the village of Kumure. Coffees from Guji provide a complex, yet balanced flavour profile that is notably different from neighboring Yirgacheffe and Sidamo coffees. Guji was originally part of Sidamo, but because the coffee from Guji zone is so unique, it has been separated as its own zone.

The coffee estate is run by a local influencer and tribal chief Tesfaye Bekele. Responsibility and Bekele's own values have an important role in how the estate operates; they have organic and Rainforest Alliance certificates, and safe working conditions are arranged for the female workers. In addition, Bekele has initiated a school project in the village in which we visited during our stay at the estate.
